This weekend is made for summer fun!
Rochester's vibrant Park Avenue neighborhood boasts an eclectic mix of artistic boutiques, cozy cafes and charming stores. Each year the Chrysler Park Ave Summer Art Fest brings more than 300 artists from across the U.S. and Canada while over 200,000 visitors shop, eat and play along the picturesque, tree-lined avenue. A multitude of specialty food vendors add to the delicious flavor already found in the many bistros, cafes and restaurants on Park Avenue. The live music begins as the festival opens with more than 32 acts performing on three stages.
This is a family-friendly and environmentally friendly event!
No dogs, bicycles, skateboards or roller blades are allowed on Park Ave during the festival. No alcohol is allowed.
Now, thanks to the partnership with Chrysler, the festival is expanding its Green initiatives by offering two exciting enhancements that benefit festival attendees and the community as a whole. Shoppers will receive a handsome, roomy, reusable tote bag featuring an original 35th Anniversary design free of charge when making their first purchase, while supplies last. Also, this year festival goers are encouraged to take advantage of free water by bringing their own containers to refill at one of the two Hydration Stations.
